source site Which meant I had to make bean bags (one for her head and one for each hand).
At which point I asked her teacher, “Do you know where I can just buy these since I’m pretty sure I can’t make my own bean bags?”
She assured me I could and told me I could use my hot glue gun. SOLD.
Here’s what you need to make your own bean bags:
Felt (cut into squares)
Hot glue gun + hot glue sticks
Dried beans (I used black beans, but you can use popcorn kernels, rice, marbles-the possibilities are endless)
You take your felt square and glue it on 3 sides, leaving one side open to insert the beans.
Once glued, turn the bean bag inside out and fill with beans.
Fold over the 4th side and glue.
And voila! You have your very own bean bag!
